The task

The package involved difficult-access façade areas associated with a water-ingress problem.

The visible internal symptom alone was not treated as proof of the external entry point. The relevant façade details needed to be accessed closely before the remedial work could be defined and carried out.

What the work required

The work combined close access to the affected façade area with inspection of the visible external detail and localised remedial activity within the instructed scope.

Observations at the façade were considered in the context of the reported leak rather than assuming that the nearest visible joint was automatically the cause.

SFA involvement

Sky Facade Access Ltd carried out the instructed specialist works under subcontract.

The SFA scope related to the agreed water-ingress and remedial package and did not extend to structural assessment, façade design or responsibility for the wider building envelope.
