The task
The package involved difficult-access façade locations where glazing condition, fixings and individual glass units needed close access.
The instructed work included survey activity, glass-unit securing, reglazing and fixing tasks within the project scope.
What the work required
Glazing work at height requires the access method, glass handling, working position and surrounding façade components to be considered together.
Close access also allowed the relevant locations to be inspected before or during the instructed work.
SFA involvement
Sky Facade Access Ltd carried out the agreed specialist work under subcontract.
The SFA scope related to the instructed façade and glazing package and did not include façade design, structural engineering or responsibility for the wider development.
